On March 14th, the guests from China Merchants Testing Vehicle Technology Research Institute (CMVR) visited Baolong. The visitors included Hong Wang (GM Assistant of CMVR), Liang Zhou (GM of the Safety and Reliability BU), technical experts, and engineers from the Safety and Reliability BU and the Electronic Information BU of CMVR. Frank Yin (Vice President of Baolong), Liangxiu Zhang (GM of the System Integration Division, ECAS BU), and other colleagues from the Testing Dept. of Technology Center, ECAS BU, and AS BU warmly received the visitors.
The two sides discussed the technical route of testing of the by-wire system of intelligent chassis, and the difficulties and future development direction in practical application. They also discussed the experience and technical method of ensuring information security of auto components, and how to deal with the increasingly severe information security challenges. In the field of Ethernet testing, the optimized route of existing test method was discussed, and the test solution for new Ethernet technology was proposed based on the new trend of network technology. In terms of intelligent driving assessment technology and data compliance, the two sides discussed how to formulate more scientific assessment standards, and how to ensure compliance in the process of data collection, storage and usage. In addition, the two sides communicated on electromagnetic compatibility simulation technology, tools, testing capabilities and rectification cases. In terms of reliability and image performance testing, the two sides also had in-depth exchanges on how to improve the reliability of electronic appliances in complex environments and how to optimise testing method for image performance.
This visit laid a good foundation for the strategic cooperation in automotive technologies, and the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in more projects in the future.
