Baolong’s 3.14MW Photovoltaic Project in Hefei Campus Successfully Connected to the Grid
2026-01-08

Recently Baolong’s 3.14MW photovoltaic project in Hefei Campus successfully connected to the grid, and officially supplied clean "green power" to the campus's grid. The project is a user-side 10kV grid-connected system, with a DC installed capacity of 3.80915MWp and an AC installed capacity of 3.14MW. The core equipment configuration is powerful, including 5365 pieces of 710Wp monocrystalline silicon modules, one 3150kVA dry-type transformer, two 320kW string inverters, and ten 250kW string inverters.

Throughout the whole process of the project, a “high-level design, high-standard construction, and high-efficiency operation and maintenance” policy is followed, and a scienfic technical path is adopted. After the photovoltaic modules are connected in series to the inverters, the output AC power is stepped up by the transformer, and smoothly integrated into the campus' grid. Following a “nearby access, in-home generation & consumption, and surplus power into the grid” principle, the project makes full use of nearly 30,000 square meters of rooftop space across seven buildings in Hefei Campus. The project is estimated to supply an average of 3.3 million kwh of clean electricity annually, saving about 400 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 1,850 tons per year.

The successful connection of the photovoltaic project to the grid not only effectively lowers the electricity costs, but also promotes the shift towards cleaner and low-carbon engergy, substantially enhancing the company's core competitiveness and sustainable development.
