Recently, Syed Arif, Ford's Global Chassis STA Director, along with Bala Balamurugan, Senior Manager of Chassis & Electric, and several STA managers and senior engineers, visited Baolong Topseal factory in Thailand. Frank Yu, General Manager of Baolong ARM BU, and Chunhai Shao, Assistant General Manager of the Thailand factory, warmly welcomed the delegation.

During the factory tour, Ford team highly commended the factory for its early-stage infrastructure development, production line setup, and localized operation preparations. At the same time, they provided valuable advice for subsequent optimization and compliance of laboratory construction, compounding automation upgrades, and full-process quality control. As the global trade landscape changes, North American OEMs are accelerating the regionalization of their supply chains. Ford team highly recognized Baolong’s localized production plan in Thailand and its strategy of “manufacturing in the local area while supplying globally”, and regarded Baolong as a key partner in building a resilient supply chain.

The visit provided a solid foundation for deep global business synergy between the two parties. In the future, Baolong will further implement its Global 2.0 strategy, promote the expansion and upgrade of its overseas manufacturing network to better serve global automakers and let more people benefit from the development of automotive technology.
