Mocksville, North Carolina – July 29, 2026 – Baolong Automotive and Luftride celebrated today the official handover of their new North American air suspension manufacturing facility in Mocksville, North Carolina. The ceremony brought together local and state officials, key industry partners, senior executives, and media representatives to witness a significant milestone in the companies’ strategic partnership. More than the completion of a manufacturing facility, the project will establish a localized smart manufacturing platform serving the entire North American market, integrating localized R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer support to provide North American customers with faster response times, shorter lead times, and high-performance air suspension solutions tailored to regional market needs.

Baolong is a global leader in air suspension technology, supported by advanced manufacturing capabilities and a well-established global supply chain. Luftride brings decades of experience in automotive chassis components, backed by  deep engineering expertise and extensive market knowledge and established distribution networks across North America. Together, the two companies have established a state-of-the-art manufacturing hub in North Carolina that serves as a localized smart manufacturing platform for the North American market. Integrating local R&D, manufacturing, and sales, the facility will deliver high-performance, premium-quality air suspension systems with enhanced responsiveness, shorter lead times, and exceptional customer support for OEM and aftermarket customers throughout North America.

With a total investment of US$15.5 million,  the facility will manufacture high-performance air suspension products for leading North American vehicle platforms. Production capacity will be rolled out in phases to support both OEM and premium aftermarket businesses. The planned annual production capacity is 350,000 vehicle sets for Air Spring Assembly and 200,000 vehicle sets for Air Supply Unit (ASU) for air suspension.

The manufacturing facility encompasses approximately 7,500 square meters (80,000 sq ft.) and features automated production lines, advanced laboratories, finished goods warehouses, logistics operation zones and modern office area. Over the course of the project, the plant is expected to create approximately 80 skilled local jobs, contributing to the growth of the regional economy and supporting the continued development of North Carolina's automotive industry.

Following the handover ceremony, full-scale construction will commence. The key milestones are scheduled as follows:

· Equipment installation & commissioning in December 2027

· Low-volume pilot production in April 2028

· Official mass production in June 2028.
