At the 2022 China Automobile Supply Chain Summit & the 7th China Auto Parts Industry Awards (CAPIA) Ceremony held in Auto Valley, Wuhan, China on December 23rd & 24th, Baolong’s air spring technology for high-end passenger vehicles got a gold award (in respective of mass-produced chassis products) for the first time. Donald Li, Deputy General Manager of Intelligent Air Suspension Business Unit of Baolong, attended the ceremony.

CAPIA is a professional and authoritative nomination of outstanding auto parts suppliers in China. With a jury composed of sourcing leaders and R&D leaders of domestic mainstream OEMs, and senior experts of the industry, the event is to promote exchange and communication between auto parts suppliers and automakers, and explore competitive suppliers in each segment for OEMs.

Baolong’s air springs for high-end passenger vehicles break the monopoly of multinational giants on OEM business and are at the forefront in the world in terms of durability, NVH, burst strength, etc. The manufacturing of Baolong’s air springs are highly automatic and informationalized, with parameters of each process recorded by sensors and uploaded to the Manufacturing Execution System. And through real-time SPC and accurate process traceability, product quality is ensured.

Baolong started its development of air suspension in 2012. So far it has developed the assembly of air spring & air damper, air supply unit, air suspension controller, gas holder, height sensor of air suspension, vehicle accelerator sensor, etc. By 2022, Baolong has been nominated as supplier of all above-listed products by domestic leading automakers.

Baolong has built a high-quality supply chain, complete technical standard, positive development system and complete test facilities, which have reduced the customers' sourcing costs by approximately 30% and helped to improve the mounting rate of air suspension in passenger vehicles.
