Baolong’s 8-million-pixel intelligent controller recently won excellence award in the ICV (Intelligent Connected Vehicles) professional competition of the 4th China Industrial Internet Contest.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, etc., the contest is an authoritative event, among which the ICV Professional Competition is becoming the most influential event of China's ICV industry. A total of 348 products were registered for this year's competition, and after roadshow and assessment 16 products won Excellence Award in the end.
As part of the front monocular camera, Baolong’s award-winning 8-million-pixel intelligent controller adopts integrated design and is developed for passenger vehicles.
It’s applicable to the 8-million-pixel intelligent integrated system which is composed of a front camera, 12 ultrasonic radars and 4 AVM cameras.
The system’s function includes DVR, ADAS, and APA. It has the advantage of anti-congestion, high safety, and excellent cornering in the case of single-lane. Thanks to the system, the camera of the travelling data recorder can be omitted. Besides, the system supports bypass.
With a long detection range (200~250m) and a wide field of view (around 120°), the system is competitive compared with low-pixel products which have shorter detection range and narrower field of view. So far Baolong has mass-produced several kinds of ADAS cameras, AVM cameras, and domain controllers.
Adopting domestic chips and perception module, the 8-million-pixel intelligent controller is based on Baolong’s planning & controlling module and its rich experience in R&D, processing and manufacturing of cameras. It makes the front monocular camera cost effective, stable and reliable.
The 8-million-pixel front camera is a typical product of Baolong V-SEE™ 1.0 solution, which assists the driver in cruising and parking. The company has also launched V-SEE™ 2.0 which assists in overtaking other cars and V-SEE™ 3.0 which provides intelligent drive solutions under all circumstances and all weather conditions.
