On September 17th, Baolong celebrated the opening ceremony of Longwei new facility and Phase 3 of Topseal facility in Ningguo, Anhui Province, China.

The total area of the six newly-planned factories by Baolong in 2023 is over 250,000 square meters. At present three of them are already put into operation.  

The first phase of the new Longwei facility, which has been put into operation, covers an area of nearly 50,000 square meters, and a building area of over 40,000 square meters, while the second and third phases which are now under construction cover a building area of nearly 30,000 square meters. The new Longwei facility will mainly produce liquid cold plates and air springs.

With a strong technical and management team in the field of automotive power batteries and energy storage liquid cold plates, and highly-automated production lines in the new facility, Baolong has got nominations from several customers and mass produced liquid cold plates. Capable of the whole process including stamping, brazing, spraying, and testing, the company aims to be one of the leading suppliers of the product to OEMs in China, with current annual capacity of 300,000 pieces. With scheduled full capacity of 1.5 million pieces per year, the construction of all phases of the Longwei facility is scheduled to be completed in 2028.

The Longwei facility has built fourteen automated production lines to develop and produce air springs for chassis, cabin and cabin seats of commercial vehicles as well as bellows for air spring assembly. With current capacity of 2 million per year, and planned full capacity of 7.4 million per year, the facility will provide solid base for rapid growth of the company’s air suspension products.

Covering an area of more than 10,000 square meters, with a building area of 30,000 square meters, Phase three of Topseal facility produces air reservoirs and air damper aluminum parts through the automated production lines. The air damper aluminum parts are mainly for passenger vehicle air springs which are produced in Hefei facility. At present, the production capacity of air reservoirs is 600,000 pcs per year while the planned full capacity is 2.7 million pcs per year.
