On November 25th, the 3.3 megawatts Phase 1 photovoltaic project of Ningguo Park of Baolong was successfully completed with the photovoltaic matrix connected to the grid, and “green electricity” supplied to the park grid. The project adopts the method of “nearby access, spontaneous self-use, selling of surplus on-grid”, and makes full use of the 30,000 square meters’ rooftop of the Topseal factory.
The project will provide 3.47 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, which will save about 400 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 2,500 tons each year. This will effectively reduce the company's electricity purchase costs, promote clean and low-carbon production, and reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, which will significantly enhance the company's core competitiveness. According to Baolong’s plan, the total capacity of the photovoltaic power station of Ningguo Park is expected to be 18 megawatts, with Phase I of 3.3 megawatts, and subsequent installations will be carried out gradually; Hefei Park is expected to be 2 megawatts, while Zhangjing Park in Songjiang, Shanghai is expected to be 1 megawatts, which will be constructed soon.
Under the guide of “Carbon Neutral Management Strategy” and “Carbon Reduction and Carbon Neutral Management Guidelines”, adhering to the concept of “high-level design, high-standard construction, and high-efficiency operation & maintenance”, and based on the needs of each park, Baolong will plan and construct photovoltaic projects in phases to achieve the goal of “carbon peak and carbon neutrality”.
