Jinhua Shangkun (Ingeek) Intelligent Connected Advanced Manufacturing Park, located in Wucheng Economic Development Zone, Zhejiang Province, held its opening ceremony on the morning of Nov. 18th. At the same time, Jinhua Shanglong Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Shanglong Electronics”), moved into the park, and officially announced the start of production.

Baolong and Ingeek signed a joint venture agreement in Shanghai on August 26th, 2024 to establish Shanglong Electronics. The two parties integrate their advantages in manufacturing, hardware R&D, intelligent entry systems, ecological services, etc., and has built an efficient, lean, flexible, and intelligent manufacturing platform for automotive connection systems featured by digital keys.  

With a total investment of one billion (CNY), this new manufacturing park covers an area of 56 acres. The construction of Shanglong Electronics facility is completed, and is put into production just one year after the JV agreement was signed. Currently, Shanglong Electronics has two modernized plants in the park, as well as a fully equipped calibration and testing site and comprehensive support buildings. Eight production lines have been put into operation, six of which have already operated for mass production, while the other two will operate for mass production by the end of the year. Additionally, a new production line will be introduced by year-end. The estimated annual capacity of this year will reach 2.2 million pieces, and three more production lines will be introduced in 2026.

The company has introduced a full-process intelligent warehousing solution, enabling data-driven and fully traceable operations from materials warehousing to finished products delivery. The production lines are equipped with advanced industrial robots and automated equipment. Robots are used from materials allocation to finished product shipment. All key processes are fully automated, ensuring stable product quality and efficiency. Currently, special production lines for Volkswagen A/B vehicles adopt fully automated processes for loading and unloading, programming, welding, and testing, with only one material handling worker needed, which ensures stable product quality. In the future, Shanglong Electronics aims to build an industry-leading modern factory, characterized by intelligence, lean production, and green ecology.
